Gift Shop
Bank of the River Gift Shop The Gift Shop is known for selling a wide variety of interesting and unusual oddities along with silver, china, jewelry (antique, vintage, and collectible), linens, ephemera, books, dolls, purses and much more. Our shop is a treasure trove of mostly donated items and the constantly changing inventory regularly presents surprise bargains. We also offer a selection of new local history books, photographic prints from our Collection and note cards. Our merchandise can provide unique gifts for any occasion.
The Society gift shop, located in the Robert & Isabella Hawkins House, is managed and operated by Kathy Schmidt. The shop is open Thursday afternoons (weather permitting) throughout the year. If the “OPEN” sign is posted outside of the Hawkins House on a Thursday, the shop is open and customers are welcome.
Thank you to our donors and customers for their continued support. All proceeds go directly towards supporting our preservation efforts.
